
Pottery Cafe Scouting Events can help your troop earn their ceramic badge by learning to work with clay. Scouts will have a blast during this creative outing while learning something new!
Methods taught are coiling, slab and pinching. Clay events are $12 per child. $25 deposit is required. Minimum of 10 children.
Scouts will learn a basic knowledge of ceramics and painting on pottery.
Hand-building is the art of shaping clay without the use of a potter's wheel. S Time: 1 hour.

Pottery Café has lots of great options and projects to help you Daisy, Brownie or Girl Scout troop. All these options can help your troop earn their CERAMIC OR CLAY BADGE.

Daisy Girl Scouts
Mini Flower Vase – Reinforce the beauty of the world around us. $12
Round snack plate – make a healthy snacks plate to use at troop meetings or home. $12
Brownie Girl Scouts
Flower Pot – paint a mini flower pot for your personal garden or to share with you community $15.
Dry Eraser Board Tile – learn to be responsible by leaving yourself or family members messages of “things to do” $13
Junior Girl Scouts
Self Portrait – learn how to paint your self portrait like Picasso using a 6x6 tile $13.
Remembering the Good Times – great a custom designed picture frame. Great for that group photo. $18
Service Project Badge
Each year in November, Pottery Café host Service Project Day. Bring your troop to create an ornament to donate to a local Assisted Living Community or a local Nursing Home. Ornaments are $10 each. Call our studio for dates and times.
Ceramics & Clay Badge
Pottery Café can help your troop earn their ceramic badge. The badge requirements include the following: handle with care, make a pinch pot & coiling. The class is one hour in length. The cost is $12 per scout. All ages are welcome. Each scout will learn how to make a clay pot and paint their creation. We will fire each pot and return to the leader 10 days later. $25 deposit is required and is an instructional fee. Scout leaders are responsible for purchasing the badges for the scouts.
